Red Banner of Songun is an internationally coordinated attempt at building a multi-lingual theortical e-journal for the promotion of the army-based socialist postulates of Marshal Kim Jong Il, Chairman of National Defense Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). We seek to propogate the rich philosophical principles found within the Songun politics and the Juche idea, and the defense of the Korean revolution. Its was strategized around the time of Red Sun's Day the April 15th birth of Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, with the intention of an introductory bulletin to occur on the June 19th, 2006 occasion of the 42 anniversary of the start of Marshal Kim Jong Il's work in the Central Committee of the illustrious Worker's Party of Korea (WPK).

Special Internet Homepage Opens
Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- A special Internet homepage "Red Banner of Songun" opened by the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy on June 12 on the occasions of the 42nd anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the 6th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle. The homepage carried pictures of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and photos showing the Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il.
It posted articles entitled "Great history of revolutionary activities of Comrade Kim Jong Il", "Glorious 42 years of the Songun Sun", "On achieving the reunification of Korea under the banner of "By our nation itself", "The U.S. imperialists provoked the Korean war" and others. |
